1. Who We Are
GMP IPO Watch (gmpipowatch.in) is an independent website covering the Indian IPO market. It was founded by Hardik Ranpariya, who leads our editorial work, with Jenesh Devganiya (Financial Content Writer) and Rajan Vekariya (Market Research Analyst). 2. What We Cover
We track Mainboard and SME IPOs listing on NSE and BSE: grey market premium (GMP), price bands, lot sizes, key dates, subscription status, allotment and listing-day performance. We also publish IPO reviews, explainers, gold and silver rates, and stock market holiday calendars.
3. Our Sources
- IPO details (price band, dates, lot size, issue size, financials) come from licensed IPO market-data feeds. Where available, we link to the company's offer documents (DRHP/RHP) filed with SEBI and the stock exchanges, which are the primary source.
- Subscription, allotment and listing data come from market-data feeds that report the stock exchanges' (NSE and BSE) figures, and from the IPO's registrar for allotment status. Listing prices are verified against exchange listing-day price data.
- Grey market premium (GMP) comes from third-party sources that track unofficial grey-market quotes. GMP is not an official or regulated price — we always label it as an unofficial indicator, and we publish an IPO GMP Accuracy Report showing how GMP has compared with actual listing prices.
4. How Our Content Is Produced
Reviews, analysis and blog articles are written by the author named on the article.
Routine IPO updates — new IPO announcements, IPO opening, allotment and listing-day posts, and weekly roundups — are generated automatically from our IPO data, using templates written by our editorial team. They are published under the byline of our founder, who is responsible for them. Figures in these posts (such as live GMP and subscription numbers while an IPO is open) are refreshed automatically as new data arrives.
Other languages: versions of our pages in Hindi, Gujarati and other Indian languages are produced automatically from the English content. If a translation reads incorrectly, the English version is the reference.
5. Accuracy and Updates
Every article shows when it was published and, where relevant, when it was last updated. IPO data changes quickly, so pages are updated as new information becomes available. When we get something wrong, we fix it as described in our Corrections Policy.
6. Independence and Advertising
Our coverage is not paid for by companies, merchant bankers or brokers. Advertising on this site (including Google AdSense) is shown separately from editorial content, and advertisers have no say in what we publish. Any sponsored content will be clearly labelled as sponsored.
