Ardee Industries IPO to Open on August 5; ₹425.87 Crore Mainboard Issue Draws Strong Investor Attention Ahead of Launch

Ardee Industries Limited is preparing to open its Initial Public Offering (IPO) for public subscription on August 5, 2026. The mainboard public issue will remain open until August 7, 2026, while the company's equity shares are proposed to be listed on both the NSE and BSE on August 12, 2026. With a total issue size of ₹425.87 crore, Ardee Industries has emerged as one of the first major mainboard IPOs scheduled for August 2026.

The IPO has been priced in the range of ₹50 to ₹53 per equity share. The issue comprises a fresh issue worth ₹320 crore along with an Offer for Sale (OFS) worth ₹105.87 crore by existing shareholders. Retail investors can apply with a minimum lot size of 281 equity shares, translating into a minimum investment of approximately ₹14,893 at the upper price band.

Ahead of the public issue, the company has scheduled its anchor investor allocation on August 4, with institutional participation expected to provide an early indication of investor confidence before the IPO opens for subscription. Strong participation from institutional investors could further strengthen market sentiment surrounding the issue.

Ardee Industries is one of India's leading companies operating in the circular economy, specialising in the recycling of end-of-life lead-acid batteries, energy storage products, and non-ferrous metal scrap. The company recovers valuable metals through environmentally responsible recycling processes and manufactures high-purity lead and lead alloys that are supplied to industries including automotive, battery manufacturing, electric mobility, energy storage, chemicals, and industrial applications.

The company operates one of the country's large integrated recycling facilities with an installed processing capacity of nearly 1.57 lakh metric tonnes per annum. Its advanced recycling operations support India's growing focus on sustainable manufacturing, resource conservation, and responsible waste management while reducing dependence on imported raw materials.

According to the offer documents, the fresh issue proceeds will primarily be utilised for incremental working capital requirements, repayment of certain borrowings, and general corporate purposes. The additional capital is expected to support higher production volumes, strengthen liquidity, and improve the company's balance sheet as it expands its operations.

Financially, Ardee Industries has delivered impressive growth during FY2026. The company reported revenue of approximately ₹1,167.7 crore, while net profit increased by over 150% year-on-year to around ₹84.7 crore. The sharp improvement in profitability reflects higher production volumes, better operating margins, and increasing demand for recycled lead and lead alloy products. The strong financial performance has become one of the key reasons behind growing investor interest in the IPO.

India's battery recycling industry is expected to witness substantial long-term growth due to the rapid expansion of the automotive industry, increasing adoption of electric vehicles, rising demand for energy storage systems, and stricter environmental regulations promoting organised recycling. Growing consumption of lead-acid batteries across automotive, telecom, UPS, and industrial applications continues to generate a steady supply of recyclable materials, creating favourable business opportunities for organised recyclers like Ardee Industries.

One of the company's major strengths is its integrated recycling model that enables efficient recovery of valuable metals while maintaining environmental compliance. Long-term relationships with battery manufacturers, industrial customers, and metal buyers have helped the company establish a stable business model supported by recurring demand across multiple industries.

Market sentiment ahead of the IPO has remained encouraging. Grey market activity indicates a Grey Market Premium (GMP) of around ₹7 per share, suggesting a potential premium over the upper end of the price band. While GMP is an unofficial market indicator and should not be considered a guarantee of listing performance, it reflects positive expectations among market participants before the subscription opens.

Industry experts believe Ardee Industries is well positioned to benefit from India's increasing focus on sustainability, battery recycling, and the circular economy. Rising electric vehicle adoption, growth in renewable energy storage, and stronger environmental regulations are expected to drive long-term demand for recycled lead and related products. At the same time, investors should consider risks such as fluctuations in lead prices, raw material availability, regulatory changes, environmental compliance costs, and customer concentration before making investment decisions.

With the IPO scheduled to open on August 5, 2026, Ardee Industries has emerged as one of the most anticipated mainboard public issues of the month. Supported by strong financial growth, an established recycling business, expansion-focused fundraising plans, and favourable industry trends, the company is expected to remain in focus throughout the subscription period. Investors will closely monitor demand across retail, non-institutional, and institutional investor categories before the proposed listing on August 12, 2026.
