Lohia Corp IPO Opens Tomorrow; ₹1,102 Crore Mainboard Offer Draws Strong Investor Interest Ahead of Subscription

Lohia Corp Limited is preparing to open its Initial Public Offering (IPO) for public subscription on July 23, 2026. The public issue will remain open until July 27, 2026, while the company's equity shares are proposed to be listed on both the NSE and BSE on July 30, 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. The IPO is valued at approximately ₹1,102 crore, making it one of the largest mainboard offerings in July 2026.

The company has fixed the IPO price band at ₹404 to ₹425 per equity share, with investors required to apply for a minimum lot of 35 shares. The anchor investor portion is scheduled to open a day before the public subscription, reflecting strong institutional participation ahead of the issue launch.

Unlike many recent public issues, the Lohia Corp IPO is entirely an Offer for Sale (OFS) comprising approximately 2.59 crore equity shares. Since there is no fresh issue component, the company itself will not receive any proceeds from the IPO. Instead, the funds raised will go to the existing selling shareholders participating in the offer.

Lohia Corp is one of the world's leading manufacturers of machinery used for technical textiles, woven polypropylene fabric, raffia tape extrusion, circular looms, winding equipment, coating lines, and packaging solutions. The company has built a strong global presence by supplying advanced industrial machinery to customers across more than 90 countries, serving industries involved in packaging, agriculture, geotextiles, infrastructure, food packaging, chemicals, fertilizers, and industrial fabrics.

Over several decades, the company has established itself as a technology-driven engineering manufacturer with a comprehensive product portfolio. Its integrated manufacturing facilities are equipped with advanced machining, fabrication, assembly, testing, and quality control infrastructure, enabling the company to manufacture sophisticated machinery for global customers while maintaining high engineering standards.

Financially, Lohia Corp has reported strong business performance in FY2026. The company recorded approximately 25% year-on-year revenue growth, while net profit increased by nearly 64%, supported by higher exports, improved operating efficiencies, and sustained global demand for technical textile machinery. The robust financial performance has strengthened investor confidence ahead of the IPO.

One of the company's major strengths is its significant export business. Lohia Corp supplies machinery to manufacturers across Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, North America, and Latin America. Its extensive international customer base reduces dependence on a single geography while enabling the company to benefit from increasing investments in industrial packaging and technical textile manufacturing worldwide.

The technical textile industry continues to witness strong long-term growth driven by increasing demand for industrial fabrics, woven packaging materials, geotextiles, agricultural fabrics, FIBC bags, and specialized textile products. Rising investments in infrastructure, construction, logistics, food packaging, and industrial manufacturing are expected to support continued demand for advanced machinery supplied by companies such as Lohia Corp.

Investor sentiment ahead of the public issue has remained encouraging. Grey market activity indicates a healthy premium over the upper price band, suggesting positive expectations before subscription begins. While the Grey Market Premium (GMP) is an unofficial market indicator and should not be considered a guarantee of listing performance, it reflects strong interest among market participants ahead of the IPO opening.

Industry experts believe Lohia Corp is well positioned to benefit from the expanding global technical textile market, increasing industrial automation, and rising capital expenditure by packaging manufacturers worldwide. The company's engineering expertise, diversified customer base, strong export network, and established brand recognition provide competitive advantages in a specialized machinery segment.

Investors should also consider certain business risks before investing. As a capital equipment manufacturer, the company's performance depends on industrial investment cycles, global economic conditions, export demand, foreign exchange fluctuations, raw material prices, and customer capital expenditure decisions. Since the IPO is entirely an Offer for Sale, the company will not receive fresh capital from the public issue for expansion purposes.

With subscription scheduled to begin on July 23, 2026, Lohia Corp has emerged as one of the most anticipated engineering-sector IPOs of the year. Supported by strong financial growth, global market leadership in technical textile machinery, an extensive international customer base, and healthy investor sentiment, the company is expected to remain in focus throughout the subscription period. Market participants will closely monitor subscription demand across retail, non-institutional, and institutional investor categories before the company's proposed listing on July 30, 2026.
