Millworks Technologies IPO Opens Today; Precision Engineering Company Sees Strong Grey Market Buzz Ahead of Subscription

Millworks Technologies Limited has officially opened its Initial Public Offering (IPO) for public subscription today, July 14, 2026. The company aims to raise approximately ₹160.33 crore through a 100% fresh issue, making it one of the largest SME public offerings of the month. The IPO will remain open until July 16, 2026, while the company's shares are proposed to be listed on the BSE SME platform on July 21, 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and completion of the allotment process.

The IPO has been priced in the range of ₹315 to ₹331 per equity share, with investors required to apply for a minimum lot of 400 shares. At the upper price band, the minimum investment for retail investors works out to approximately ₹1.32 lakh. Since the issue consists entirely of a fresh issue, the proceeds will be utilized for expansion initiatives, working capital requirements, and general corporate purposes.

Headquartered in Bengaluru, Millworks Technologies is a precision engineering company engaged in manufacturing high-accuracy machined components, sheet metal parts, sub-assemblies, and integrated assemblies for highly regulated industries. The company primarily serves customers operating in aerospace, defence, railways, semiconductor, automation, and industrial engineering sectors under both Build-to-Print (BTP) and Build-to-Spec (BTS) manufacturing models.

One of the company's biggest strengths is its capability to manufacture mission-critical engineering components that require extremely tight tolerances and stringent quality standards. Millworks Technologies operates multiple manufacturing facilities equipped with advanced CNC machining centres, laser cutting systems, fabrication units, inspection equipment, and modern quality control infrastructure. The company is also certified under AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015, demonstrating compliance with internationally recognized quality management standards for aerospace and precision engineering manufacturing.

According to the offer documents, nearly ₹61 crore from the IPO proceeds will be invested in purchasing new plant and machinery to expand manufacturing capacity. Around ₹87 crore has been earmarked for meeting working capital requirements, enabling the company to execute larger customer orders and support future business growth. The remaining proceeds will be utilized for general corporate purposes.

The IPO comes at a time when India's precision engineering and advanced manufacturing sectors are witnessing significant growth. Government initiatives promoting domestic manufacturing, defence indigenization, semiconductor ecosystem development, railway modernization, and aerospace manufacturing have created substantial long-term opportunities for companies specializing in high-precision engineering components. Increasing localization of manufacturing under the "Make in India" initiative is expected to further strengthen demand for domestic suppliers like Millworks Technologies.

Financially, Millworks Technologies has reported impressive growth over the past few years. The company has demonstrated a sharp increase in revenue and profitability, supported by higher order execution and expanding customer relationships across domestic and international markets. Recent financial disclosures show revenue increasing to approximately ₹148.77 crore in FY2026, while profit after tax rose to around ₹37.06 crore, reflecting strong operational performance and improving margins.

Another important aspect of the business is its growing international presence. The company exports precision-engineered products to customers across several countries, including the United States, Germany, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Israel, and the Netherlands. Export revenues contribute a meaningful share of the company's overall business, providing geographical diversification and reducing dependence on a single market.

Investor sentiment ahead of today's IPO opening has remained exceptionally positive. Market reports indicate that the Grey Market Premium (GMP) has surged to nearly ₹390, representing a premium of around 120% over the upper price band. Although GMP is an unofficial market indicator and should not be considered a guarantee of listing performance, the strong premium reflects robust demand and positive expectations among market participants before subscription begins.

Industry analysts believe Millworks Technologies is well-positioned to benefit from India's growing focus on defence manufacturing, aerospace production, semiconductor equipment localization, and railway infrastructure development. Demand for precision-engineered components continues to rise as global manufacturers increasingly diversify supply chains and source complex engineering products from India. Companies possessing advanced machining capabilities, quality certifications, and engineering expertise are expected to benefit from these structural growth trends.

At the same time, investors should also evaluate certain business risks. The company operates in a specialized engineering segment where customer concentration, project execution timelines, raw material costs, and export demand can influence future financial performance. Additionally, maintaining stringent quality standards and continuously upgrading manufacturing technology will remain critical for sustaining long-term competitiveness.

Millworks Technologies has emerged as one of the most closely watched SME IPOs of July 2026. With strong financial growth, exposure to high-value engineering sectors, significant manufacturing expansion plans, and exceptionally positive investor sentiment before the issue opened, the company is expected to remain in focus throughout the subscription period. Investors will closely monitor subscription levels across retail, non-institutional, and institutional investor categories over the next three days before the shares are scheduled to debut on the BSE SME platform on July 21, 2026.
