Poojaa Precision Engg IPO Opens Today; ₹159.83 Crore BSE SME Issue Receives Strong Attention Ahead of Subscription

Poojaa Precision Engg Limited has officially launched its Initial Public Offering (IPO) for public subscription today, July 28, 2026. The SME public issue will remain open until July 30, 2026, while the company's shares are proposed to be listed on the BSE SME platform on August 4, 2026, subject to the successful completion of the allotment process and regulatory approvals. The company aims to raise approximately ₹159.83 crore through a fresh issue of 53.10 lakh equity shares.

The IPO has been priced in the range of ₹285 to ₹301 per equity share. Retail investors can participate by applying for the prescribed minimum lot size, while the issue has been allocated among Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs), Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs), and retail investors in accordance with SME IPO regulations.

Poojaa Precision Engg Limited, formerly known as Pooja Castings Pvt. Ltd., is an established engineering company engaged in the manufacturing of precision-machined and forged automotive components. Incorporated in 1992, the company supplies critical engineering products used in passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, tractors, off-highway equipment, and industrial machinery. Over the years, it has developed strong manufacturing capabilities backed by advanced machining technology and quality control systems.

The company manufactures a diversified range of precision-engineered components including transmission parts, axle components, differential parts, steering components, suspension parts, and customized machined products. These components are supplied to leading automotive manufacturers and Tier-1 suppliers in India and selected overseas markets.

According to the company's offer documents, the IPO proceeds will primarily be utilised for capital expenditure, expansion of manufacturing facilities, purchase of modern machinery, working capital requirements, and general corporate purposes. The proposed investment is expected to improve production capacity, increase automation, and support future business growth as demand for precision engineering products continues to rise.

India's automotive and engineering sectors continue to benefit from increasing domestic manufacturing, export growth, localisation initiatives, and rising investments in electric mobility. Government programmes such as Make in India and the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme are encouraging manufacturers to expand production capabilities, creating long-term opportunities for precision engineering companies like Poojaa Precision Engg.

Financially, the company has reported consistent growth in both revenue and profitability over recent years, supported by higher production volumes, improved operational efficiency, and increasing customer demand. Its healthy financial performance has strengthened investor confidence ahead of the public issue and positioned the company among the notable SME IPOs of July 2026.

One of the company's major strengths is its long operating history of more than three decades in precision engineering. The management has developed long-term relationships with automotive customers while continuously investing in manufacturing technology, CNC machining, and quality assurance systems. These capabilities enable the company to manufacture complex components that meet stringent industry specifications.

Industry experts believe demand for precision engineering products will continue to grow as vehicle manufacturers expand production of passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, electric vehicles, and industrial equipment. Increasing localisation of auto components and rising exports from India are expected to provide additional opportunities for domestic component manufacturers over the coming years.

Market sentiment ahead of the IPO has remained highly encouraging. Grey market activity has indicated a strong premium over the upper price band before the issue opened, reflecting positive expectations among investors. However, the Grey Market Premium (GMP) is an unofficial market indicator and should not be considered a guarantee of listing performance. Investors are advised to evaluate the company's fundamentals alongside market sentiment before making investment decisions.

Despite the positive outlook, investors should also consider potential business risks. The company's performance is linked to the automotive industry's production cycle, raw material price fluctuations, customer concentration, and capital expenditure trends. Maintaining high capacity utilisation, operational efficiency, and strong customer relationships will remain important for sustaining future growth.

With subscriptions now open, Poojaa Precision Engg has emerged as one of the most closely watched SME IPOs in the engineering sector this week. Backed by a strong manufacturing base, expanding production capacity, healthy financial performance, and favourable investor sentiment, the company is expected to remain in focus throughout the three-day subscription period. Market participants will closely monitor subscription demand across retail, non-institutional, and institutional investor categories before the company's proposed listing on the BSE SME platform on August 4, 2026.
