Mainboard IPOs Coming Up

The four Mainboard IPOs are likely to attract most of the attention because of their larger issue sizes and wider investor participation.

SRIT India operates in IT and IT-enabled services, providing digital solutions, application development and system integration services. Its work spans areas such as healthcare, e-governance and telecom.

SME IPOs: The Calendar Gets Much Busier

While there are only four Mainboard IPOs, the SME segment has 16 issues scheduled in this cycle.

That is where the IPO calendar gets particularly interesting — and also where investors need to pay attention to minimum investment requirements.

Unlike many Mainboard IPOs, SME IPOs often require significantly larger application amounts because of their lot sizes.

For example, Vans Electroengineerings requires a minimum retail application of two lots, amounting to ₹2.83 lakh at the upper price band. Papadmalji Agro Foods requires about ₹2.30 lakh for two lots.

What About GMP for These Upcoming IPOs?

GMP is usually one of the first things investors search for after an IPO announcement.

It is easy to understand why. A rising GMP can create excitement around a new issue, while a flat or negative GMP often gets less attention.

But there is an important catch: GMP is unofficial.

It is based on activity in the grey market and can change several times before the listing. It also does not guarantee where the shares will actually open on the exchange.

For example, an IPO can have a strong GMP but still see a different listing outcome if market sentiment changes.

So when checking GMP, it makes sense to look at it alongside the company's financials, valuation, subscription data and business prospects.

Mainboard or SME IPO: What Should Investors Look At?

The two segments are quite different.

For Mainboard IPOs, investors generally see larger companies, broader participation and lower minimum application amounts.

SME IPOs can be very different. The minimum application can run into several lakh rupees, and post-listing liquidity can also be an important consideration.

Before applying to an SME IPO, investors should check:

  • Minimum lot size
  • Minimum application amount
  • Financial performance
  • Promoter background
  • Debt levels
  • Use of IPO proceeds
  • Valuation
  • Business model
  • Post-listing liquidity
  • Risks mentioned in the offer documents

A large GMP or heavy subscription alone does not tell the whole story.

IPO Calendar: Important Dates to Remember

Here is the simple timeline investors can keep handy:

September 28

  • SRIT India opens
  • Shah Investor's Home opens
  • Acme Universal Safezone 9 opens
  • Shree TNB Polymers opens
  • Pind Hospitality opens
  • Shivchem Agro opens

September 29

  • Paramount Syntex opens
  • Acme India Industries opens

This makes September 30 the busiest opening day of the current IPO calendar.

What Should Investors Watch Before Applying?

With 20 IPOs arriving in a short period, it is easy to get carried away by the number of new companies entering the market.

A better approach is to slow down and compare them.

Look at the price band, issue size, financial performance, valuation, subscription numbers and GMP. More importantly, understand what the company actually does and why it is raising money.

For SME IPOs, the minimum investment requirement deserves extra attention. A ₹70 share price may look inexpensive at first glance, but a large lot size can make the actual application amount much higher.

Final Takeaway

The Indian IPO market is heading into a very busy period.

From September 28 to October 5, 2026, investors will see 20 new IPOs, including four Mainboard companies and 16 SME companies. Together, these issues are expected to raise around ₹1,292 crore.

The Mainboard calendar features SRIT India, Shah Investor's Home, Vishal Nirmiti and Nityas Gems & Jewellery, while the SME side includes companies such as Acme India Industries, Paramount Syntex, Dove Soft, Omara Ventures, Eventions, TNA Solutions, EverestIMS Technologies and Black Opal Consultants.

For IPO investors, the next few days will be all about tracking opening dates, subscription numbers, GMP movements and allotment schedules.

But with so many issues arriving together, it is worth looking beyond the headline GMP number and understanding each company's business and valuation before making an application.

Keep following GMP IPO Watch for the latest IPO GMP, subscription updates, allotment results, listing dates and upcoming IPO news.
